  1. Hi Maria, Jack has started playing junior football called Auskick which he loves , but says he'd prefer to play soccer, so will enrol him in soccer next year if he still wants to give that a try. My older boys always played football & cricket when they were younger. They played tee ball one season. I'm always encouraging them to try alsorts of games to see what they like best.Every one used to say I bet Anthony plays cricket for Australia, I used to think the same thing he was a really talented cricket player, but after working he lost interest, I still think he could make it if he wanted to, time is running out, he turned 23 yesterday. still not to late, there has been a few late starters to the game. Sport is a great healthy activity for kids & adults too !

  2. Yes, I've heard of Auskick. I don't like football and prefer soccer (that's just the spanish in me LOL). The Soccatoo program is just for 3 and 4 year olds. Once Josh turns 5 he won't be able to continue, but that's ok as my brother coaches soccer and I will be putting Josh into one of his teams.

I really want Josh to do martial arts and roller skating as well, but I don't want to end up overloading him with activities or spending too much money either. I'll just take his lead and he can decide what he wants to do.

Happy belated birthday to your son. You know, most kids don't know what they want to do with their lives till around 24, when the human brain fully matures. Maybe there is still some hope that he can take up the sport again!!
