Scrap soup

Here is the result of my first attempt at scrap soup. The first photo shows the veggie scraps and reserved cooking liquids that I had collected over the last week. The second shot is the final result. It was very delicious indeed and I was sceptical as it seemed like one huge hodge podge! This is what I did...

The Base
Sauteed onion
Added veggies and cook 15 min
Added the reserved liquid
Added 1 bay leaf,1 teaspoon tumeric, 1 teaspoon whole black peppers, 3 stock cubes
Brought to boil
Added leftover rice and chicken
Simmered 15 min
Added peas and stale bread.
And hey presto!
