Fox skin dashboard mat
Here's a project I'm currently working on today for Ron, my brother in law. He's an avid pig hunter so he treasures skins. This one he picked up hanging off a fence post at the Sofala tip when he was last up that way visiting his property and doing blokey hunting things.
Its a fox skin jacket that I have picked apart along with a template made up of cardboard that Ron did up for me as a guide. It's going to be a dashmat for his new hilux.

Wow, they look so snuggly and soft! You must have much nicer foxes than the mangey dark coated ones I have seen where i live! Can't wait to see the finished product.

We have no way of knowing where the fox actually came from really. It is lovely and soft but a pain to sew really as cutting into it the hairs fly everywhere LOL. I have it all cut up now and ready to stitch together first thing in the morning.
